Sorry not to have contacted you before, but life has been rather busy since our return on Friday. This is really to say that we all enjoyed our holiday at St. Pierre, very much indeed.    We could not fault it - the Course, the food, the staff - in fact everything including the weather.!!   Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Many thanks for all your organisation - it really worked out well.

Hope all is well with you. Thank you again.

Sheila

We had a great break on the Gower ,you even sorted the weather for us. Thanks to you and your team for organizing everything so well.

John

Just a note to say we had a superb time in Wales last month on our golf break.  Hotel was good and staff were great.  The courses were in great nick and we probably didn't do them justice.  Thanks for the seamless organisation and support.
Best wishes,

Des

Resort Information Guide

The Belfry is nestled in over 500 acres of English countryside and provides a perfect base for the visiting golfer looking for a play and stay golf break.

Following a £26 million refurbishment in April 2013, the resort’s inside is now “on par” with the beautiful golf courses outside, and boasts a variety of luxurious bedrooms, superb dining, leisure options and meetings faciltities.

First to come back was Sam’s; enjoyed pre-refurbishment by our valued golf members and resident golfers alike. Now with a new name, Sam’s Club House offers a welcoming ambience for all guests, with a dining and drinks experience for every taste, followed shortly by the the opening of the brand new Ryder Grill. Overlooking the resort’s infamous tenth hole of the world-class Brabazon golf course, Ryder Grill diners enjoy the finest locally sourced produce and watch as their delicious steak is prepared in the performance kitchen located inside the restaurant.

Next up was the Brabazon Bar, adorned with luxurious furnishings, and an opulent colour scheme of emerald green. Located at the heart of the hotel just off the stunning new reception, the bar really is a place to be seen. Whether it’s to celebrate a momentous occasion or simply relax with some pre-dinner cocktails, the Brabazon Bar has it all.

Alongside the transformation of the restaurants and bar, the hotel’s bedrooms have been fully updated with luxurious new furnishings and stunning new bathrooms, along with every convenience and comfort of home.

The Brabazon

Home to some of the most dramatic golfing moments in Ryder Cup history, the Brabazon Golf Course first held the tournament in 1985, and has since gone from strength to strength. The Brabazon was designed by Dave Thomas and Peter Allis and is always kept in pristine condition with lightning-fast greens, treacherous bunkers, and plenty of water features adding to the challenge of the golf course layout. The signature holes are the 10th and the 18th, with the short par four 10th tempting players to hit the long-ball to the green and risk finding the water trap, and the 18th longer par 4 with a tricky tee shot over more water that threatens to make or break even the most accomplished golfers round. This golf course is an absolute must for any golfer wishing to stay and play at The Belfry.

The Derby

The Derby Golf Course is a great addition to a golf break, and complements its famous sister golf courses nicely. The 6057 yard, par 69 track is an enjoyable golf course and truly one that players of all standards can thoroughly enjoy. Not being the longest course, The Derby golf course still requires you to think your way round, and makes a nice change to the Brabazon and PGA National golf courses. The signature hole for this golf course is the 5th, in which a large oak tree is centred on the fairway that requires a strong drive shot to move past it.

The PGA National

Making its name as the only PGA branded golf course in England, the PGA National Golf Course is building a reputation as being one of the top in the country. A host to two European Tour Events, the golf course is well cared for and the greens make for tricky putts which can catch out the less proficient players. The inland-style of the PGA National golf course presents numerous challenges, including water and bunker hazards throughout its length. Those that will triumph over this track will need great shot accuracy and a keen eye for reading the fast greens, making it a tough golf course for even the most consistent of golfers.
